Perth is blessed with an active and vibrant community involvement in and support for the performing arts. Residents and visitors alike have a wide choice of local or professional entertainment to choose from. The Perth Performing Arts Committee is just one such organization meeting this need. Its mandate is to bring quality professional performing arts groups to Perth for reasonable cost. For 22 years, this dedicated group of volunteers has staged a minimum of three to a maximum of five presentations from September to May of each year. Presentations have covered all aspects of live entertainment instrumental and vocal music, classical and contemporary music, dance, theatre and comedy.
