The Knitting Studio specializes in Kits of natural fibres and blends of mohair, wools, linens, silks, from designers such as, Jo Sharp, Alice Starmore. The specialty being Celtic Aran designs. There is always such a great sense of accomplishment in finishing one of these works of art.

Jo Sharp's merino and colour choice is exceptional, patterns range from easy colourful knits, textured ganseys to the more challenging intarsia patterns. She uses different colour combinations for the same pattern and adapts them for men, women and children. You will be spoiled knitting with her wool. My pick for Aran designs is McCoy Aran (which is a washable wool) which comes in ecru, oatmeal, natural brown (I have 3 on the go).! It can be used with any Aran pattern using 4.5mm needles.
